These are more concept shots than anything else. I'm trying to build a huge aquarium on the back wall, but the lighting isn't working very well so far. I'm not happy with the furniture, either. Anyway, the set is coming along slowly. I originally intended it to be a hotel suite, and I might still go with that if I can get the scene to ever make sense.
It's BEAUTIFUL! I love the lighting and the weeping willow leaves hanging the ceiling! Very different and amazing!
ReplyDeleteThe back wall aquarium, there is no light on it or you're trying to add more that doesn't make it too bright?
Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI don't know what the problem is with the lighting in the aquarium. The lights in that space don't look right. Either they are too bright or they don't seem to light up at all. I'm going to have to play around with it some more. Maybe I should try Numenor's invisible wall/window to get some exterior light in the space.
And if that doesn't help try placing lights under the aquarium. One of the outdoor ground lights sometimes gives a dull glow but enough light.
ReplyDeleteThere isn't any bottom to it; it's a series of windows and some columns I placed horizontally using OMSP's (shamelessly stole that idea). I might be able to put a window on one of the ends, though, and put a light outside it on a transparent tile raised to window level. That way I could use a ground light.
